After a long period of solitude, I developed a deep interest in the energy connections we need as living things.
Beyond our bodies and intellects are the unseen bonds which are the most powerful.
When we are waiting at a crosswalk, at the line in the supermarket, or dancing at a party, our energies are intertwined.
There are even connections within ourselves that flow, regenerate, and gift us with exploration and freedom.
In a way, feeling alone and observing it made me not alone. SUBSTANTIAL BOND

In “SUBSTANTIAL BOND” I began the conversation with a classic suit. That way, every change I made to the familiar shape showed the audience an unseen connection.
To narrate the invisible in a material world, I covered the eyes. I wanted to do all the work of conveying a message without relying on a bodies expression.
